Overwhelmed. Eck

If you are a regular follower of my blog you may have noticed a decrease in posting from me. Why? Has my love of reading stopped? Does the blog world no longer interest me? Did aliens kidnap me and finally return me to Earth? All those questions get the answer no.

So what has happened? Life. Oh My Lanta. I cannot keep up between teaching, writing, reading, blogging, social life, dogs, cleaning and oh that whole thing about keeping my sanity. Did anyone ever notice that when you are super busy your laundry multiplies? My job takes the lead spot. I need that to survive and pay my bills and Saturdays are the only days that I will absolutely write, but even then, my life can interfere with that.

How do you do it? How do you juggle it all? Leave some tips and tricks for me and if anyone wants to be my personal assistant for free, email me. :)

PS. If you want to win a copy of The Vampire Academy see the blog post below.

  1. This is how I do it: I quit my job, become a hermit, don't see friends or family, respond in grunts when someone speaks to me as I am too busy working on my story to verbally form words.

Okay, so all that is a bit unrealistic. I write my blog posts in advance and just post them on the scheduled day and because I write very slowly, I get up extra early in the morning to get some writing done.

  2. I am a teacher too and I get this feeling a lot. I am quite strict with myself and make time for my blog, because it's one of the only times of the week when I get down time, and it's much needed after the stresses of the day.

    1. Hey Sam. I am glad I am not the only teacher who gets to feeling that this is a lot. I have been too tired to read lately but I have been trying to push through that. You are right, the down time is much needed.

  3. Oh, I understand! I always wonder how people work full time, have a family, and write! Crazy!

Do take care, and have a great time. :)

Oh, I wanted to pass on to you there is a place called Tribute Books, looking for YA books for publishing ebooks. I know you are doing self pub, but through of you when I saw it. Might be to late, but thought I'd mention it. Don't know how they are, but... just a thought. :)
